As sliders go, and aside from some edit-your-waifu Adult games out there, a game with an ample amount of sliders that mostly do what you'd want and expect them to do, is Blade and Soul. Now, some people here have been asking about a game with better sliders, so I'll offer my humble opinion. ![]() Still, I always felt a bit limited on what I wanted to edit (then add the NA height restrictions on top of all that). When done well, the results are still very nice, and the fact that you don't have to pay real cash every time you want to edit your character is a boon more games should emulate. Now, as sliders go, which is OP's complain, I agree some of the NGS sliders move things they shouldn't move to places they shouldn't go if you go too far when moving something else (hip and groin area being one of the bigger culprits), so you will have to balance between what you want and what you want to avoid and settle for that. ![]() With hundreds of parts to pick and add to your character, and a bunch of animations to spice things up, it seems no game will ever come close for the time being. NGS has the best character customization, period. Now, I agree somewhat with OP, and I also want to set things where I believe they belong.įirst things first. As a character shape nerd, I need to come out of my lurking for a bit and join in here. They literally don't let you adjust skeletal rigging at all. Thats just you not knowing how to use the sliders. You can make a big abdomen without increasing the hip mass. Thats just you not knowing how to use the sliders.Īlso your points are false, you just have to learn how to use the sliders. It's the body editing that is the problem.Īlso your points are false, you just have to learn how to use the sliders. It is so much easier with individual sliders.Īs for the customizability of outfit and accessories, I'd say this game has quite an array of possibilities, especially with the ability to edit, rotate, scale, and even attach accessories to different body parts. With a lot of hard wiggling, you can manage to get it to look acceptable, but in some cases you will just never get it to where you wish it to be with the system that this thing uses. My hips width should not determine the depth of my abdomen. Those two games are parralel in the theme of character creation as this, much much older, and they use individual sliders rather than this weird annoying gelletin molding system.įor PSO2, the worst example of the flawed character creation is the female body around the hips and waist area, forcing you have an enourmous hip mass if you don't want to look like your abdomen was flattened by a truck. No matter how you customized yourself though, your body shape is still a clone of everyone else in your same class.įor those wanting examples for superior character creation, the first two games that come to mind off the top of my head are CoV/CoH, and even Star Trek Online. The most customization that exists is actually just the hair and the eyes. That game puppetted itself as having one of the best character creation systems, but you are body locked to class with only the ability to slightly shrink or bulk areas. The mention of Black Desert is kind of humorous. Too many areas that could be more independent are too interlinked to other areas, rather than having individual freedom like many other games with character body customization have. The character body parts slider system in this game is atrocious. ![]() Originally posted by Aurelia:I'm not really sure what's so confusing about this.
